1.Overview

This policy explains what information AirIt ("we", "us") collects when you use the AirIt app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who uses AirIt, whether you post tasks, work on them, or both.

2.Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run AirIt:

• Account details: your name, email address, mobile number and profile photo.
• Work profile: your skills, a short description, travel range and whether you're a student.
• Tasks and offers: what you post, photos you add, fares, offers, questions and answers, and reviews.
• Location: saved addresses you add, and your live location while “Can work” is switched on, so we can match you with nearby jobs.
• Messages: chats between customers and workers, which are encrypted, and conversations with AirIt AI.
• Verification: the result of your Aadhaar-based identity check. [Confirm exactly what is stored and for how long.]
• Payments: transaction details such as amount, status and reference. Card and bank details are handled by our payment partner. [Name the payment partner.]
• Device information: device type, app version, language, and a notification token so we can send push notifications.

3.How we use your information

• To show your task to nearby workers with the right skills, and to show workers jobs within their travel range.
• To let you chat, hire, pay, get paid and review each other.
• To send notifications about offers, jobs and account activity.
• To power AirIt AI features such as drafting tasks, checking job status and raising support tickets.
• To verify identities, prevent fraud and keep AirIt safe.
• To provide support and respond to your requests.
• To improve AirIt, using aggregated information where possible.

4.When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when needed to run AirIt:

• With the other person on a job: for example, a worker sees your task and first name, and your exact address is shared only with the worker you hire.
• With service providers who work for us, such as hosting, payments, identity verification, maps, notifications and AI processing. [List providers.]
• When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

5.How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your account, jobs, offers, chats and reviews. We may keep limited records where the law requires it, such as payment records. [Confirm retention periods.]

6.Your choices and rights

• Update your profile, addresses and language any time in the app.
• Switch off “Can work” to stop live location updates.
• Turn notifications off in your phone's settings.
• Delete any AirIt AI chat, or delete your whole account from Settings.
• Ask for a copy of your information or raise a privacy concern by emailing privacy@airit.app.

7.Security

We protect your information with measures such as encryption in transit, encrypted chats and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your login details private and tell us straight away if you suspect misuse.

8.Children

AirIt is not meant for anyone under [18]. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

9.Changes to this policy

If we make important changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
